The research will involve the use of novel flow cytometry cell sorting techniques to identify a population of cells that retain characteristics of the immature cell phenotype, and to examine unique cell surface receptors and their functional roles during IVD aging and regeneration. | | Requirements: | Qualifications include PhD in biology, biomedical engineering or other relevant areas of biomedical sciences. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, independent, and possess training in areas of cartilage/cell biology and biochemistry, cell culture, molecular biology and biochemistry.
